At this time of year, the whole country comes together to welcome the PSL 8 opening ceremony. On Monday, February 13, the HBL PSL 8, which is the official name for the league’s eighth season, will start.

The 2021 champion Lahore Qalandars and the runner-up Multan Sultan will play the first game on that date at the beautiful Multan Cricket Stadium.

Before the toss, though, a star-studded group of singers, including Shae Gill, Faris Shafi, Asim Azhar, and Abdullah Siddiqui, will perform the official PSL 8 anthem live. Fans will be able to watch and listen at home. Aima Baig, a famous singer, will sing the National Anthem with soul at the end of the opening ceremony.

The singer of “Na Cher Malangaan Nu” has sung on official PSL songs in the past. Fans may be disappointed that Aima isn’t singing on the official PSL anthem this year, but the singer is proud and humbled to be singing on the National Anthem, a task that not many people are willing to do because of how much pressure it comes with.

“Singing our beloved National Anthem on a big stage like the PSL is both humbling and hard. It’s hard because there are thousands of fans in the stadium and millions of people watching on screen, and everyone is paying close attention because it’s the National Anthem. “That’s a different kind of pressure, and I can’t imagine messing that up,” Aima said.
